About

Bold therapy for a bold client

I am passionate about working with youth, adults, and couples. You will find me to be an active listener and a mindful therapist. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) in my work with clients. My personal life journey has led me to a career of service to others. I taught high school English classes before moving to work as a school counselor. I am well-read and traveled, believing both experiences can unlock a deeper understanding of one’s self and one's voice. It is my aim to navigate life with you as we meet. I received a B.A. in English Literature from North Park University in 2003, an M.A. in Teaching from Bethel University in 2007, and an M.S. in School Counseling from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls in 2018. My work as a mental health therapist began as an LPCC since May 2022. I look forward to meeting you as you begin your journey!
